November 4, 2008 was a day of tremendous significance; I mean it's just great. Barack Obama and the tremendous energy created by us as we celebrate this victory is transforming the world in the best way. I'm really happy for Obama and his family (though my heart goes out to them too as they mourn the death of his grandmother); this is a very important time in our existence on this planet. Let's remember that we are all human beings--members of the same species--and let's focus on working successfully to improve our lives in the best way. As Obama said in his speech:
"This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.
It can't happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.
So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility, where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other."
